Some Minor Housekeeping and A Quick Confession

I realize this is last minute but just a reminder that the First Annual (quarterly, bi-annual, to be determined) Skog Blog Meet and Greet will be held at the Bishop Allen concert at Kilby Court TONIGHT! Be on the lookout for two 'husky' gents with beards and one lovely young lady with a striking resemblance to Juno.

Here is the info as reported in the SL Trib:

Bishop Allen (Skog Blog Meet and Greet)

The Brooklyn indie-rockers took their name from Bishop Allen Drive in Cambridge, Mass., where the two frontmen lived together after attending Harvard. The smarty pants have a song, "Middle Management," included on the soundtrack of "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist." An Horse and Drew Banbury are also on the bill. The band is thrilled to be headlining the First Ever Skog Blog Meet and Greet.

When » Friday at 7

Where » Kilby Court, 741 S. 300 West, Salt Lake City

Tickets » $8 at SmithsTix

Here is a little reminder of them in case you have forgotten.

And for my quick confession. If listening to the same song 83 times in one week is wrong than I don't wanna be right. I can NOT get enough of this song. I usually don't like to listen to things over and over and over but by gosh I had this sucker on repeat daily for hours at a time.

We Are Scientists - After Hours (Stay tuned for more about these guys on Monday perhaps...)

I can't wait to hear how the concert was. And I don't think that listening to a song 83 times in a week is wrong...but maybe listening to that song 83 times in a week is wrong.

Okay, but since I just made fun of you, if sitting in your driveway on a friday night listening to Dolly Parton is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

I dunno if I can get into Bishop Allen. Plus that name alone makes me feel like I should be repenting of something.

The second song was better, I liked the video. I respect bands that don't have the typical 'stand in a room with a fish eye lens and lean into the camera and sing' video. But I don't know if I respect their hair.
